Values
To measure our success, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale feels that the organization needs to exhibit the following values:

  • Courage
  • Diversity
  • Honesty
  • Integrity
  • Respect
  • Responsibility
  • Sportsmanship
  • Trust

In addition, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale believes these values need to be evident with our volunteers and community partners.

How Can You Help?

Program and membership fees support less than 40 percent of the funds needed for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale to provide services to more than 15,000 members. In order for the Club to continue providing more than 100 quality programs, and to keep them affordable to all families, additional support must come from concerned individuals, corporations and foundations.

A Positive Place for Kids
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale serve girls and boys between the ages of 6 and 18, with an emphasis on outreach to teens, gender inclusion and family involvement. We are committed to developing self-esteem in our community's youth by instilling a sense of belonging, leadership and participation in the community.

A Rich History
The Boys & Girls Club movement began in Hartford, Connecticut, in 1860 when three women invited a group of boys into their home for tea and cake to give them a positive alternative to the streets.
