 Mark Grace Celebrity Invitational brought together more than 120 golf enthusiasts along with local and national celebrities for an exciting day golf at the Camelback Golf Club. The 36-hole golf tournament began with registration and breakfast followed by a cocktail reception, silent & live auction and awards dinner.
Celebrity golfers at the 2009 tournament included Mark Grace; baseball Hall of Famer Bob Uecker; former Arizona Cardinals Kwaime Lassiter, Ron Wolfley and Bill Lewis; former Phoenix Suns Tim Kempton; former Cleveland Browns Steve Holden; former Dallas Cowboys Dale Hellestrae; former ASU football coach Frank Kush; former Chicago Cub Steve Stone; LPGA golfer Shirley Furlong; and many others.

For 16 seasons, Mark Grace brought enthusiasm, humor and amazing talent to the game of Major League Baseball. As a Chicago Cub, Grace led his team on the field and in the hearts of fans from his rookie season in 1988 through the end of the 2000 season. With the Arizona Diamondbacks, Grace won a World Series ring in 2001 and played three season before retiring in 2003. He remains active in baseball today, sharing his knowledge of the game as a TV broadcaster for the Diamondbacks.
