Angels for Kids is the annual giving campaign for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale. Due to the generosity of key donors helping to cover the costs of this campaign, 100% of your investment goes directly to our programs.

When you invest in the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale through the Angels for Kids campaign, you are making a commitment to support youth in our community. We, in turn, are making a commitment to be there for more than 15,000 youth in the Northeast Valley currently participating in our programs and activities.

To continue providing a safe, positive place for our growing population of youth to learn and grow, we need your help.

With an investment of $500, you can become an Angel for one Club member and help us provide that child with a positive place to grow. Each successive $500 investment allows us to reach out to another child. A gift to Angels for Kids at any level is greatly appreciated and will collectively power the potential in more children.

Join with me as I celebrate my 40th year in the Boys & Girls Clubs movement by chairing our ongoing Angels for Kids 2008-09 annual campaign.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale have been serving local youth for over 50 years, thanks in a very large part to our Angels for Kids campaign. 100% of every dollar raised through Angels goes directly back to youth development programs for the more than 15,000 youth that we serve annually.

The Club focuses on developing youth in five core areas: The Arts, Character & Leadership Development, Education & Career Development, Health & Life Skills, and Sports, Fitness & Recreation. This enables our members to develop life enhancing skills while nurturing self-esteem.

But, that is only half of the story! Our organization has an experienced staff and volunteer group that provide guidance and leadership in addition to “a positive place for kids.” I remember fondly the mentoring I received while a member of the then “Boys Club” as a youth. All of us can surely point to a person or two that had that “mentoring” effect on each of us along life’s path; people that you could lean on when needed, ask their advice and emulate as you started your life’s journey.
